I'll stamp all over 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making substantial earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Difference

As both boxers participated in the usual stare-down, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
